If you are interested in management at CLS, we require that each assistant manager to have:

• 2 years experience required.

If you are interested in teaching at CLS, we require that each Instructor to have:

• at least a B.A. degree in English or related field
• 3 years of combined teaching experience in ESL or TOEFL, either here in the United States or abroad;
• a CERT, the State of California¡¯s Certificate of Authorization for Service. Please be aware that a person may teach at a California approved or registered postsecondary language school only if they hold a CERT. If you do not have a CERT and wish to obtain one, you may apply directly to the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education, 400 R Street, Suite 5000, Sacramento, CA 95814-6200. The CERT filing fee is $55.
