Most of the college/university require that all international students have major medical health insurance while enrolled at the college/university.
However, we don't require medical health insurance.
This can be done upon request. The fee for this Insurance is about $180 for 4 months of coverage.



Food and Grocery Shoppping

There is a wide range of dining choices available to students.
For hamburger and French fry lovers, or those with a taste for Mexican food, there are many fast-food restaurants near school.
There are several Korean Markets near school such as Hannam Chain, Hankuk Market, Kaju Market, Assi Super..., so you can purchase anything your heart desires from Kimchi to Bulgogi.



The weather in Los Angeles is relatively warm year-round.
Daytime temperatures remain in the 70sF and 80sF from around May through the end of September.
Many students wear shorts during the day, but it is always a good idea to bring a sweatshirt or light jacket for the evening.
October through March is the closest Los Angeles will get to winter. Daytime temperatures average in the 60sF with evening temperatures dropping into the 40sF. Blue jeans, sweaters and jackets will get you through. It only rains about 13 inches per year in Los Angeles, but bring an umbrella for the occasional downpour. Ski slopes are within 1 1/2 hours of the campus, so bring your ski gear if you plan on hitting the slopes.
Don't forget your swim suit - unless you want to look like a tourist at the beach.
